Compelling from start to finish. Olive is such a strong compelling protagonist, filled with character and mystery. Without spoiling anything, half way through ‘Shift’ a major twist in the plot strikes and you’ll need to have your schedule cleared because there is no putting this book down after that. It’s creepy, slightly disturbing, yet unforgettable. Em Bailey manages to take you on a journey that perfectly captures the angst of high school, and the catty but all too familiar changing of social cliques. This quirky, dark read will be a rollercoaster ride you won’t regret.
