This book is everything! It’s a whirlwind of emotions and action packed right from the start. It’s possibly the best in the series so far… if I say anymore I won’t be able to stop talking and I’ll give it all away. The Killing Joke by Alan Moore:
When it comes to authors, Alan Moore always seems to pull you right in and keep you on the edge!
The Killing Joke is notably one of the greatest Batman and Joker stories ever told. The fantastic artist Brian Bolland brings the Joker and Batman to life with dramatic and stunning visuals for the comic art work. You simply can’t compare this to any other book or comic. Killing Joke will leave you more scared of the Joker then ever before.
It’s a must read for all. – Sam
The Wolf Road by Beth Lewis:
After finding out the man who had raised her for the past 17 years has been butchering innocent people, Elka flees to find her real parents. On her adventures she befriends a wolf and another young girl who she finds trapped in a box.
The Wolf Road is enjoyable from start to finish, with dramatic twists and turns around every corner.
This has been a great read and is worth picking up if you like a good thriller. Anyone who loved The Road is sure to love this too. – Bill
The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen:
Set centuries into the future, the Tearling was intended to be a place for humanity to start afresh, free of a despotic government. And yet, years after its founding, it is isolated and reminiscent of the Middle Ages, with slavery, prejudice and corruption infecting society. With both of these novels (Queen of the Tearling and Invasion of the Tearling) the storyline encapsulated me and the characters are developed so incredibly well. Johansen is no joke; the series has quickly become one of my absolute favourites—now I’m eagerly awaiting the third novel to be released! (In November, in case you were wondering.) – Payton
