Books of the Month: July

It’s time to announce… our July Books of the Month! This month, we are featuring “Stone Town” by Margaret Hickey, “The Digger of Kokoda” by Daniel Lane, and “City of Dragons 01: The Awakening Storm” by Jaimal Yogis. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

“Stone Town” by Margaret Hickey

When Aidan Sleeth is gruesomely murdered, few are surprised. Instead, they are thinking about the disappearance of Detective Natalie Whitsted. Natalie had been investigating the celebrity wife of crime boss “The Hook.” Now, we’re left to wonder – did she uncover something that cost her life? And why are two Homicide detectives, sent to run the Sleeth case, so obsessed with Natalie’s fate?

“The Digger Of Kokoda” by Daniel Lane

“The Digger of Kokoda” tells the story of Reg Chard, a front-line soldier and an all-Australian hero. When Reg lost his will to live, he found a new purpose by educating Australia’s youth. Giving tours of Sydney’s Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway, he tells the stories of Kokoda every day, preserving the memory of those who never came home.

“City of Dragons: The Awakening Storm” by Jaimal Yogis

When Grace moves to Hong Kong, her biggest concern is making friends at her fancy new boarding school. But when a mysterious old woman gifts her a dragon egg during a field trip, she discovers that the wonderful stories she heard growing up might actually be true. What will happen when the egg hatches?
