Have you heard about QBD Book Club?

We’re so excited to announce that we have partnered with Seven Local Productions to extend our reach to readers through the QBD Book Club series!

Hosted by beloved Queensland Weekender presenters Lee Carseldine & Victoria Carthew, the QBD Book Club will regularly review the latest releases and bestselling books, all available from QBD! Get ready for that TBR pile to grow!

Current reviews include bestselling reads like Matthew Reilly’s The Three Secret Cities, Lee Child’s Past Tense, Liane Moriarty’s Nine Perfect Strangers and Dylan Alcott’s autobiography Able.

Make sure you keep an eye out for author appearances as well! Top authors will be profiled on Channel 7 lifestyle programs Queensland Weekender, Creek to Coast and The Great Day Out.  The first episode, starring author William McInnes,  went live on December 1st 2018.

Did you know that he has written over 10 books? In 2012 his book Worse Things Happen at Sea, co-written with his wife, Sarah Watt, was named the best non-fiction title in the ABIA and Indie Awards. William’s latest book, Fatherhood, is a nostalgic read all about being a dad.

We hope you will all love catching up on all the latest reviews and book news through our new partnership! Make sure you follow Queensland Weekender on Facebook and bookmark the hub so you never miss the excitement!
