It’s that wonderful time of year when all our favourite authors are putting the finishing touches on their next bestsellers, and we get to look forward to all the shiny new books coming in through our doors!

Here’s a taste of what’s heading our way soon:
Due to be released 3rd August, we have Danielle Steel’s inspirational new novel Country, James Patterson brings his Private series downunder with Private Sydney, and Temperance Brennan returns in Kathy Reichs’ latest thriller Speaking in Bones.

Bet you thought that was enough for one week, didn’t you? But wait, there’s more! Start getting excited all you Percy Jackson fans, because due in store on the 7th, we have the brand-spanking-new Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes!

One that we’re all excited for at the moment (thanks to our fantastic competition with a chance to win an Andy Griffiths book pack!) is the latest in the wacky Treehouse series, The 65-Storey Treehouse!! We know a lot of kids who are counting down to 12th August for this one!
Then, the very next day, we’re back to spoiling the grown-ups, with the latest instalments from a couple of our favourite ladies: Robin Hobb is releasing the second book in her Fitz and the Fool series, The Fool’s Quest, and Philippa Gregory brings us the tale of the last of Henry VIII’s wives in The Taming of the Queen.

Lisbeth Salander returns in the highly anticipated follow up to Steig Larsson’s Millenium Trilogy, The Girl in the Spider’s Web. This book is under lock and key until 27th August, and the details have been kept under such extreme caution to avoid any early leaks or security breaches, that the author even had to write the novel on a computer with no internet connection, to avoid getting hacked! (Which, personally, I think would have been deliciously ironic.)

*Phew!* It’s hard to believe that’s just one month’s worth of new titles! We’ll keep you posted on all the exciting news in the months to come, and here’s a bit of a quick tease of things which are heading our way this September!
