World War Z by Max Brooks:

So different to the movie adaptation, World War Z is a completely absorbing ‘fiction as history’ take on an inevitable zombie apocalypse. I loved the unique writing style – one of my favourite books ever! – Yvonne (Store Manager)
The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson:
If you’re a fan of Patrick Rothfuss, Anthony Ryan, Sarah J. Maas, or even Brandon Sanderson’s other books and you haven’t tried this series, grab it now! It is a bit of a commitment with only two out of the planned ten books released, but it is easily my favourite fantasy series I have ever read. – Tamara
These Things Hidden by Heather Gudenkauf:
These Things Hidden is undoubtedly in my top 5 and Gudenkauf is one of my favourite authors. It’s a book full of intriguing and dark secrets which the author subtly supplies the reader throughout the story. The pages will fly by as you seek to discover the ending and the climax will blow your mind! One of the few great books which stays with you for days after reading the last page. – Haylee
Metro 2033 by Dmitry Glukhovsky:
A post-apocalytpic, psychedelic action thriller set in the underground metro of Moscow. The naive, lone figure Artyom embarks on an epic odyssey to save his station and solve the mystery of the dark ones. I particularly loved the dark themes and the bleak, twisted interpretation of western society and political idealism; this book is a phenomenal read. – Axel
Everyday by David Levithan:
Excellently written, I could not put this book down. A’s unknown identity captivated me, enticing me to read more. The intriguing notion of being in a different body with a different life each day captured my imagination, making me fall more in love with this book by the second. – Steph
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard:
A fantastic read centred around the theme of inequality in a dystopian setting. I loved this novel for its great plot twists, betrayal, and of course the forbidden love. I highly recommend this book to all! -Paige
The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom:
In the Time Keeper, the concept of ‘time’ is yet to be defined. One man invents the first clock and is banished as punishment. His chance for redemption comes at the cost of educating two different people on the true meaning of time. I loved the author’s pursuit of human truth’s, the journey of discovery and most of all the eloquent way this book has been crafted together. – Bek
Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews:
Although it may be one of the most disturbing books on the market, with a deceased father, evil grandmother, and murderous mother. It was wonderfully written, unforgettable, and mesmerising. I fell in love with Virginia Andrews’ books from the get go. – Tayla
