Dr Karl Kruszelnicki loves science and has spread the word in print, on TV, radio, and online for over thirty years. The author of forty-eight books, Dr Karl is a lifetime student with degrees in physics and mathematics, biomedical engineering, medicine and surgery. He has worked as a physicist, labourer, roadie for bands, car mechanic, filmmaker, biomedical engineer, taxi driver, TV weatherman, and medical doctor at the Children’s Hospital in Sydney.

Karl was a shy Polish immigrant child, but once he reached adulthood, he rapidly began trying new experiences, exploring new pathways and passions that led him to live a raucous and wildly chaotic life.
