Non-Fiction Book of the Month – “A Periodic Tale” by Karl Kruszelnicki

Dr Karl Kruszelnicki loves science and has spread the word in print, on TV, radio, and online for over thirty years. The author of forty-eight books, Dr Karl is a lifetime student with degrees in physics and mathematics, biomedical engineering, medicine and surgery. He has worked as a physicist, labourer, roadie for bands, car mechanic, filmmaker, biomedical engineer, taxi driver, TV weatherman, and medical doctor at the Children’s Hospital in Sydney.

We are so thrilled to introduce September Non-Fiction Book of the Month, “A Periodic Tale” by the iconic Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.

Karl was a shy Polish immigrant child, but once he reached adulthood, he rapidly began trying new experiences, exploring new pathways and passions that led him to live a raucous and wildly chaotic life. Karl explains in his memoir that he had many life phases from racing rally cars through the mountains to attempting to enter NASA’s astronaut program to finally becoming one of the world’s favourite scientific storytellers.
