A new E L James book is on it’s way!

Attention all fans of Mr Christian Grey: E L James has announced a new book!

Published in 2017, the book will focus on the events of Fifty Shades Darker told from Christian's point of view.
A short excerpt of the new book was released on the author's Facebook page on Saturday (which we have handily linked for you below).
The reveal was "in honour" of fictional character Anastasia Steele's 27th birthday, also on 10th September, according to James, who posted: "I know you're anxiously awaiting the trailer, and that's happening... soon. In the meantime, in honour of Ana's birthday, there's this".

Now we're only left to wonder if it will be called... "DARK GREY"!

Grey: Whipping up a storm worldwide.

9781784753252E.L. James rewrite of Fifty Shades of Grey has broken international first week sales records for adult books.

Grey sold 647,401 copies in its first three days in the UK , beating record holder Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol, which sold 551,000 copies in five days in 2009.  It has also become a hit in the US, selling more than 1.1 million in the first four days*. Australian results are still coming, but our thirst for the novel hasn't been quenched yet, with it flying off the shelves.

Inspired by fans asking James for Christian's view on the romance between himself and Anastasia, Grey offers a fresh perspective, allowing the reader to connect to the character on a deeper level as we get a window into his thoughts, reflections and dreams.

“A man who acquires the ability to take full possession of his own mind may take possession of anything else to which he is justly entitled.’ I’m very singular, driven. I like control—of myself and those around me.”

The Fifty Shades trilogy has been the publishing story of the decade, having now sold more than 125 million copies worldwide and inspiring a film starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
