Batman: Hush follows Batman in search of a new enemy who is manipulating other villains to destroy the dark knight and take over his city. As Batman struggles to figure out this case, Bruce Wayne is also having trouble in his personal life when he finds himself questioning whether he should trust the woman he loves and reveal his other identity. Also an old friend comes back to town, but why has he come back after all these years.
I absolutely loved this graphic novel! I found it really interesting to read as you start to see a different side to Batman that i have yet to see before. In this particular storyline, he starts to form a relationship with someone special who in previous plots may have been the enemy but not is his motivation to be a better hero to Gotham. I really enjoyed reading his thoughts throughout the story as it gave a deeper insight to his feelings about certain people and situations. I was also pleasantly surprised by the appearance of so many DC villains and heroes in this story and made me even more anxious to see what would happen next and how all these characters connected to the plot. The only thing i would say to future readers about this graphic novel is that the ending is pretty open ended but there have been sequels written to give more insight as to what happened next. I will definitely be looking into those following volumes and excited to see what this new villain has in store. This book has become an absolute favourite of mine which luckily included all my favourite villains.
An extraordinary volume in the life of the beloved Batman and a definite must read for any fans of this winged warrior.
